The Green-Collar Jobs Campaign is focused building pathways for low-income and people of color to take full advantage of the fast-developing green economy.

The Oakland Green Jobs Corps is a job-training and employment pipeline providing "green pathways out of poverty" for low-income adults in Oakland. Based on the Pinderhughes Model, this groundbreaking program prepares trainees for careers in the Bay Area's most vibrant green industries, including energy efficiency, green construction and solar. In Sacramento, we're working on Statewide Policy Campaigns, advocating for legislation that builds bridges into the green economy. We work on legislation ranging from workforce development, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction. Learn more »

In Oakland, we co-anchor the Oakland Apollo Alliance, the chapter of the National Apollo Alliance. Working on the national, state and local level, the Apollo Alliance promotes the advancement of renewable energy and energy efficiency to drive investments into modern energy technologies, create high-quality jobs, revitalize underserved communities, and reduce dependence on foreign oil.
