Newsweek.com recently interviewed Ella Baker Center co-founder Van Jones, who is now President Obama’s “green jobs advisor” in the White House. Van gives some of the best answers anyone could give to some of today’s toughest questions on green jobs and the economic stimulus.

Way to go Van!!! I’m here in Oakland fighting Green fight with you!
Well said, Bro. Your comments are right on.
What an unbelievable interview. No questions with teeth and no answers of substance. We’re idiots to have this guy work in washington or anywhere else for that matter.
From Red to Green…a barely hidden “Means to an End”! This is just another communist hack with delusions of a communal worker’s paradise with no attachment to world reality. If Truth be known Jones would love to have a world in which a version of his so-called “equality” in social justice matters would raise minorities (the new communist worker class) up and above “imperialists” and would use the convenient vehicle of “Green” as a means to his desired end…social equality for all? Hardly! Individual responsibility and hard work is the key to success in life. If the “Man” is holding you down…join the military, get an education and work off your experiences to get ahead! Don’t feed off the “dole handed out to you by communist social engineers who would stroke your pride and ego for your support! Stand up for yourselves and take the initiative to further yourselves!

The Van Jones FIght is not contained within the Ella Baker doctrine as far as presupposing that highers will be happy with him for a disposition that boldly accelerates the issues through a stop sign, without understanding that there will be oceans of litigation that turn green to gold to red. But the valley is dark, and those that put faith in the valley, will remain there. In great times of trial, it is indeed best not to consume for the sake of actuality, but to understand the source that leads him forward and above the strife. I am so sorry to disappoint one who finds that beleagered, he would tempt himself in bisecting himself on all sides.
Let’s not get too carried away here. Green is great, but it is just one letter away from greed. Who’s money are you going to be spending? Your own? or ours. What did Van Jones do before he jumped onto the Green Jobs phenomenum? He sounds a little rednecked to me. And maybe a little condescending to “low income people, and people of color”. As I see it, all the “little people” will be doing the work, and Van Jones and Al Gore will get the “big bucks” (from our big bucks that are disappearing FAST.) And if our Big Bucks are not renewed………bye bye green movement. You can spend other peoples money just so long…..then there is no more.
I don’t know how the rest of you feel about “911 truth”, but the recent attacks on Jones and his resignation convince me more than ever of the importance of not letting up on showing that 9/11 was most likely an inside job. Those who say that it’s all in the past have just had a rude awakening.
It is beyond crucial that we support a green economy for all, the green economy is already happening the military has been using solar for many years and so has NASA, americans are purchasing organic foods and other products at an increasing rate it’s just not accesible to lower income folks . Whats wrong with creating opertunity for a cleaner healthier invironment for all.Anyone that refers to this as communism has never really studied communism , for those that have actually lived in that type of society we know better. Dont ever forget this country was founded by those that were flureshing helping others have access to hunting grounds and other necessary resources, if Native americans had not taken care of starving pilgrims, this nation wouldent be what it is today, “not sure if thats actually good or bad” Anyway native people were already living in a green economy, that’s part of what Van and others are reminding us of, if you insist in calling yourself a patriot then really study your history and understand how we got to where we are and how we’re going to get out of it.GREEN JOBS NOW.
Van Jones bailed under the heat faster than a cat runs from a sprinkler when he bailed on the 9/11 Truth Statement. This is no game to avoid in the interest of self promotion. If the Government was involved and we don’t investigate during this first Obama administration, You can count on Obama being forced out in one term like Jimmy Carter when the banking interest decide to raise interest rates to 20%. Fascism will be solidified under the next administration to make the Bush regime to look like JFK.
Don’t even be naive enough to think Obama has any chance at two terms.
Van Jones may have risked our country by his whimpy bailout.
I say push for an investigation for what really happened on 9/11. Amazing how no one wants to touch that subject! I am with you Fred W….. but first we must get rid of the federal reserve….
